‘If a compromise bill on immigration passes, it “could be a disaster for the Republican Party,” U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint said. DeMint is leading Republican efforts in the Senate against the legislation that his South Carolina colleague [scalawag] U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham helped write.’ DeMint is earning our support with his vocal critism of this immigration bill. Below are two videos of DeMint discussing immigration. Also provided is his contact information so you can let him know you appreciate what’s he doing to lead the resistance to this Bush-Kennedy amnesty.

Watch this video of our Senator Jim DeMint laying it on the line. Why can’t the neo-con scalawag Lindsey Graham be a bit more like DeMint?

Here Jim DeMint says “I’ve never seen people so upset. They feel betrayed by their government. I don’t think people are going to stand for it anymore.”

We are getting better leadership from our Chief Executive these days. ‘Mark Sanford sidestepped questions Tuesday about a federal illegal immigration proposal and instead called on South Carolina legislators to act quickly on statewide legislation [we refer to our "governor" by his original title according to our original SC Constitution]. The state-level proposal calls for changes in the law that would make it a felony to harbor or transport illegal immigrants and bars government contractors from hiring illegal immigrants. It also forces businesses to pay state payroll taxes on illegal immigrants. There’s not much time for the proposal to pass, though. Lawmakers are scheduled to adjourn next week.’ These are all strong actions to combat the invasion and should be approved and applauded.

If anyone doubts the patriotism of South Carolinians read this: ‘Two weeks ago, Republicans at the state GOP convention here booed and shouted “No” at Graham as he tried to explain his support for the federal legislation. They cheered DeMint, who said he’d work to defeat it if it appears to give illegal immigrants amnesty. By the end of the day, the state GOP had adopted a resolution saying it “adamantly opposes blanket amnesty for anyone who has not gone through the appropriate legal channels to enter our country.”‘

“A train carrying low-level nuclear waste is preparing to leave the Dairyland Power Cooperative site in Genoa [Wiscosin] for a disposal facility in South Carolina. Just don’t ask Dairyland Power officials when or by what route — under federal law, they can’t say.” Of course the Feds work to protect their interests, sending the radiation to poor Southern States rather than have the people of Wiscosin deal with their own waste. Once it is out of their area they don’t have to live with the potential consequences of this this extremely dangerous material - we do. What sort of future will there be for our children here if we continue to accept nuclear and other waste from around America? South Carolina is not their dumping ground.

“The North-South distribution of the environmental consequences of liberalized trade is perhaps most apparent in the context of the export of polluting industries and hazardous wastes from the North to the South…. Hazardous waste generators in the North export wastes to the South because strict environmental regulation and citizen opposition to the location of waste disposal facilities have increased the cost of waste disposal in the North. By contrast, hazardous waste disposal is significantly cheaper in the South due to weak environmental regulation, lax enforcement, and government corruption. Moreover, poverty and debt create powerful incentives for developing countries to accept hazardous waste shipments from other nations in order to earn badly needed foreign exchange.”

Sen. Jim DeMint:We must stem the flood of illegal aliens into our country and take control of our borders… As for people who are already in the United States illegally, I do not support any form of amnesty and will continue to vote against it. We cannot reward illegal behavior with a path to citizenship, voting rights, or Social Security benefits.”

This story is from 2003. “More than 100 teenagers, parents and supporters marched to the Beaufort County School District offices on Friday to protest after about 45 high school students were suspended this week for wearing Confederate emblems on their clothes. They came with large battle flags, Dixie Outfitter t-shirts and handmade signs. Mothers, fathers and at least one grandmother joined the teens while school district workers peeked from windows or went on with their work.”

The children are leading the fight for our heritage and honor in South Carolina – now if only the admistration of the government school system would do the right thing. Suspending students from school for displaying a bit of cultural pride is utterly wrong. Banning the symbol of the South shows the occupied school system’s hatred of the South and Southerners – apparently even our children.

School district spokesman John Williams said, “If it’s got a Confederate flag on it, it’s considered disruptive… to some, (the flag) represents heritage. To others, it represents hate. To the School District, it represents a disruption in the classroom.” The school district of Beaufort County is utterly spineless and apprently has to be shown the error of their ways by their own students.

These are a few (we recently added more) powerful videos of GOP presidential canidate Ron Paul. He speaks almost as a voice of George Washington or Jefferson Davis from the grave. You’ll see why the Republican party leaders are trying to shut him out of the debates – because he exposes their imperialist, unconstitutional designs. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!

Excellent article about his chances: “Could Ron Paul Win in New Hampshire?”

Another very favorable article: “Ron Paul, Rising Political Star”

Congressman Ron Paul in the GOP presidential debate held in South Carolina (May ‘07).

Here is a nice interview with Dr. Paul discussing his candidacy.

Ron Paul speaking about “gun control,” Iran, McCain’s blunders, etc.

“The House on Thursday approved an amendment to the abortion ultrasound bill that makes it clear that a woman cannot be forced to view the ultrasound image. The amendment to H.3355 passed on a vote of 74-21. The bill now goes back to the Senate, which has already passed it once. The Senate can agree with the House changes or amend it back to its version.” The original design of the bill was meant to force women to see an untrasound picture of the baby they are carrying in order to hopefully deter them from going through with the abortion. In the end though the Republican-led government didn’t have the courage to pass it in its original strength.

This is a clear defeat for the lives of possibly hundreds of thousands of unborn South Carolinians.

Here’s the original article

The party of Lincoln is splitting over the effort by its leadership to force a wide-sweeping amnesty for possibly 20 million foreigners illegally in the U.S. ‘House Minority Leader John Boehner, in a shockingly blunt admission Tuesday night to a small group of Republicans, called the immigration bill praised by congressional leaders and the White House a ‘piece of s—,” reports this article from Fox News. The Ohio Republican could have undoubtedly spoken more politely, but no more truthfully. We salute his courage to speak the truth about this amnesty bill. However, there is no reason a man from Ohio or New York should be dictating immigration policy to us here in South Carolina. If we were an independent nation again we could close our borders, send illegal aliens home and maintain a tight control on who we allowed into our coutry in the future. This is the real solution for S.C. to the immigration crisis.

“A 15,000-strong crowd carrying American flags and holding signs saying “Amnesty Now” paraded through the streets towards City Hall. Many people were protesting against a leaked White House plan under which illegal migrants would be charged hefty sums for work visas and residency.” The fact that they are illegal aliens and invaders and can march through our cities without threat of deportation is shameful. Their audacity to openly demand amnesty for violating our laws should enrage us. They are demanding a free pass – will Bush and the Feds give it to them? Or will they uphold the laws they swore to obey and defend our sovereighty and right to exist as a unique culture in the face of a Third World tidal wave? Don’t hold your breath if you’re expecting anyone in Washington to do their job.
