‘Republican Party members in South Carolina awarded all 20 delegates at stake Sunday to Arizona Sen. John McCain, who has vowed to help resolve Washington’s complicated relationship with the U.S. Southern State.’… ‘In a letter… McCain pledged to support a process that would enable South Carolinians to decide if they want to remain a State or become an independent nation. “The people of South Carolina deserve a process of self-determination and a congressionally defined referendum that gives them a fair and unambiguous choice among status options,” McCain wrote. “That is one of the many important things that we will accomplish together.”‘
Of course, the truth of the matter is that McCain did make these statements – but in support of the rights of Puerto Rico, not South Carolina (change all the references from SC to Puerto Rico and it’s the same quote though). Why the hyprocracy from Washington, DC? If the Puerto Rican people are to be allowed the right to vote on their relationship with the Federals, why not us? If self-determination is good enough for Puerto Rico, why isn’t it good enough for South Carolina? One has to wonder.

Since so many South Carolinians and Southerners are of Scottish background, we bring you a report from Scotland about the blossoming independence movement there. The famour actor Sean Connecery believes that Scottish independence will be achieved within his lifetime. ‘The 77-year-old former James Bond actor, who lives in the Bahamas, says Scotland is “within touching distance” of achieving independence. Writing for the Scottish Sunday Express, Sir Sean praises the work of the SNP government which gained power in the devolved parliament last year. He has been the SNP’s most high-profile supporter, donating thousands to funds.’

This is rather interesting. A group called “Americans for the Preservation of American Culture” ran ads for Mike Huckabee in South Carolina that bashed John McCain and Mitt Romney for their statements against the flag. In the advertisements Huckabee is praised as a Southerner and someone who understands the importance of Southern culture. We thought you might like to check it out. What do y’all think?

In essentials, the election is over now, a piece of yesterday’s news… We now know all we need to about the identity of the next president of the U.S. He/she will be black/white and a Republican/Democrat, but in either case will be a member in good standing of the Globalist party….’
This article hits home with a bit of realism that we could all take to heart. If we have the courage to face the truth, we all know how things are going to be under the next unconstitutional Federal regime.

‘President Bush introduced a $3.1 trillion budget on Monday that supports sizable increases in military spending… which shows the government spending $3 trillion in a 12-month period for the first time in history… Bush projects that the deficits, which had been declining, will soar to near-record levels, hitting $410 billion this year and $407 billion in 2009.’
Well, if anyone was still under the false impression that the Republicans are the party of small government – I guess that myth has been cleared up now for good. It is easier and easier nowadays to see the two parties for what they truly are – two sides of the same (worthless) coin. The problem is not the party in power; the problem is the System.
