Besides the fact that they have wonderful BBQ, hush-puppies, ice-tea and all sorts of other Southern food – the owner is a true, defiant patriot. ROBERT HAYES
A leader of the SC League of the South and director of the Southern Cultural Center, Mr. Hayes is very active in fighting for an independent South Carolina. Recently he was on a New York radio program arguing with the show’s yankee hosts for our independence. He has been branded a “hater” by the usual suspects at the Southern Poverty Law Center for standing up for our interests and sovereignty.

Dr. Wilson of Columbia, SC is a founding LoS member and is professor of Southern history at The University of South Carolina, editor of the John C. Calhoun papers and the The Essential Calhoun, author of Carolina Cavalier, a contributing editor for Chronicles magazine, and a member of the Board of Directors of the the League of the South. Dr. Wilson is a leading advocate for South Carolina and the South today!
